Ultimate Guide to Make the Quirky Tassels for your Drapes
Trust me a small detail can perk up your ethnic look any time. So never ignore that smallest details in your appearance. Consider the tassels that you often put in the lehengas or in the blouses that you pair with a gorgeous saree, even at times the pallu of the sarees comes embossed with multiple tassels or latkans.
So if you think picking up any tassel can sort out a problem - then you're wrong my ladies. Just as a a beaded border on a plain saree is enough to convert a basic ensemble into a party-ready outfit. A cool tassel can just make you appear more creative, trendy and sassy - and not at all flashy (break this myth, please!)
What I have done is prepared an ultimate guide to find the best of the tassels which you can request me to put in your outfit, or you can simply shop them for DIY outfit. Are you ready to join my roller coaster?
Pompom Tassels
The numero uno is mah list is the pompom tassels - the original, ethnic and conventional type that is never to die. Use them in contrast mode or pick the ones that comes with ghungroos, mirrors, threadwork flower cutouts and even leaves.
Gota Patti Tassel
Have heard about the gota patti sarees, right? We have also stock them up recently - you can have tassels made of gota - just imagine.
Mirror Work Tassel
The no replacement tassel - for the ethnic to indo-fusion collection nothing could be sound than choosing a miro work tassel.
Pearl Tassel
Turn a simple and naive pompom tassel to a decorative and creative one by threading and weaving it with pearl garlands. Nothing can be so placid like this appearence - check out the picture below!
Cloth Tassel
The easy to make tassel and I call it a DIY tassel. If you have a embellishing or fine zari work saree or ethnic dress, which you think to have covered its shelf life - best to make creative iitems and tassels are one among such items.
Ghungroo Tassel
I found this cool and hot at the same time. Trust me the sound it makes when you walk along with the casual flaunt to showcase - a perfect way to perk up any drape you try.
Bangle Tassel
As the name suggest, you can pick any of the handmade bangles and add your creativity to it using pompom, mirrors, cloths and even pearls. So my end of the list is the amalgamation of all my previous ideas. Give it a try - it will definitely should look this example!
The saga of tassels...
I hope that many of you might have started searching those drawers to find some of the already available elements mentioned in mah ultimate tassel list. I am sure you already found some of them. If you are not founding one online, what makes you worry - your next drape will have the best drape ever - just learn how to make them from a YouTube video. Just the way I do!
