It was not long back that IndyVogue was mainly confined around the Austin - Round Rock area of TX. We were still trying to figure out what we wanted to do and how. We had a presence in Facebook and started posting pictures of the latest collection with the hope to reach the people outside Austin. We received great response and more people started liking our page but we were not there yet where people would start trusting and order from us.....till one day day when she pinged us asking for a price for 2 sarees and just within a few minutes she ordered the same.
I was so overwhelmed and excited that I put an incorrect Zip code in the shipping label and shipped them. When she did not receive the packages on the scheduled delivery date, I became worried and soon realized my mistake. It was hours of frantic calling the Post Office and USPS and we were able to recover one package but the other was gone, lost !!!! This incident would have surely dented the trust of any body else, but that was not the case with her.....she continued liking us and over the years, we at IndyVogue, have been able to be her trusted partner and the first choice for all her ethnic wear.
